The stacking between boxes saves transportation and storage costs. Nobody wants to store tens of pallets filled with packaging materials and therefore ordering small quantities more frequently is preferred. Obviously, every transport occurrence means the delivery run creates unnecessary CO2 emissions which unnecessarily harm the environment.
EstPak Plastik has addressed the issue in its product development and has carried out form modifications that create as low of a stacking height as required by the client’s packaging line.
More boxes than before can consequently be stacked into the same space which means more packaging on the same transportation unit or in the client’s warehouse. The client is delivered the same number of pallets but with up to 25% more packaging. Instead of 4 deliveries, now only 3 are required.
